MSG Michael Francis, US Army (Ret), Vice Chairman of the NCOA Five Star Chapter in Michigan, and MAJ Michele Corker, US Army (Ret),Nurse Practitioner, present the NCOA World War II Veteran Honor and Remembrance Medallion to 102-year old TSgt John Cox who served in the US Army Air Corps. Cox's daughter Sheryl Cox-Bellono commented, "Such a wonderful honor. Dinner at Deluca's was fabulous.. and the restaurant picked up the bill.... Wow.. Thank you Mike, Michele, and Deluca's. BIG THANK YOU to Sidney Korvun for setting this up!!!" Korvun, a member of the NCOA Gateway Chapter in Florida, is a former classmate of Cox-Bellono. The Riverview Terrace Retirement Home in Roseburg, OR, was the setting for the recent presentation of an NCOA WWII Medallion by Ron Dukes, Chairman of the NCOA Umpqua Valley Chapter (second from the left), to WWII Veteran Ray Sees.
The Medallion presentation was done in conjunction with the presentation of a motorized scooter to the facility by the local Vietnam Veterans of America Group. WWII Veteran Ms. Anna Mae Robertson proudly displays the NCOA WWII Medallion presented to her by her daughter Janice Banyard.

The Knights of the NCOA Gateway and Gateway Auxiliary Chapters recently hosted a luncheon for 15 Gold Star Moms.
