The Non Commissioned Officers Association, more commonly known as NCOA, is a federally-chartered, non-profit, 501(c)(19) Military Service Organization (Federal ID # 74-1394421).  NCOA is currently a strong voice on Capitol Hill and with the Veterans Administration, and our members around the world are making a difference in their local communities. It is with the conception and full understanding that many things of great need and importance can be accomplished in unity and cooperation. Meet the Team

MCPOCG Vincent W. Patton, III, USCG (Ret)
President/National Commander

Master Chief Vince Patton, the 8th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard, accepted the position of President of the Non Commissioned Officers Association on July 12, 2016 at the NCOA Business Meeting.
A native of Detroit, MI, and the son of one of NCOA’s founding members, Master Chief Patton served 30 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Coast Guard, retiring in October 2002. His illustrious career included staff and operational assignments throughout the country, both afloat and ashore throughout the United States along with a joint military service assignment in Cuba and Haiti. Among his numerous military awards includes the Distinguished Service Medal which is the nation’s highest military peace time recognition for performance of duty.

Joseph Terry
Executive Director

30 year Veteran, SGM, U.S. Army (Ret)

Sergeant Major (Ret) Joseph Terry is a native of Vernon Hill, VA. Prior to accepting the position of Executive Director, he was the Association’s Membership Development Director. He served as the Chapter Chairman of the NCOA Dragon Hill Chapter in Korea and served on the NCOA International Board of Directors as the Executive Vice President.
