NCOA’s membership is categorized by divisions.  Eligibility for each division is outlined below:

REGULAR DIVISION: Grades E-4 through E-9, in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, active duty, Re­serves, National Guard, and retired and separated per­sonnel who held the rank of NCO/PO at time of sepa­ration from active duty under honorable conditions. Annual dues are $30, 3 years for $80, and 6 years are $150. Life member dues are based on age. Through Age 50 – dues are $400.  Ages 51-60 – dues are $250.  Ages 61+ – dues are $150.

VETERANS DIVISION: Veterans of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, regardless of rank or grade held at time of separation from active duty under honorable conditions. Annual dues are $30, 3 years for $80, and 6 years are $150. Life member dues are based on age. Through Age 50 – dues are $400.  Ages 51-60 – dues are $250.  Ages 61+ – dues are $150.

ASSOCIATE DIVISION: Active duty officers who were former NCOs/POs, and NCOs of allied military services. Also includes “friends of the military” who don’t qual­ify for any of the other Divisions of the Association. Annual dues are $30, 3 years for $80, and 6 years are $150. Life member dues are based on age:  Through Age 50 – dues are $400.  Ages 51-60 – dues are $250.  Ages 61+ – dues are $150.

APPRENTICE DIVISION: Active duty Grades E-1 through E-3 in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.Annual dues are $20.

INTERNATIONAL AUXILIARY: Spouses/former spouses, widows/widowers, and family mem­bers 18 years of age or older of enlisted mem­bers whether active duty, separated, veteran, Re­serve or National Guard, in Grades E-1 through E-9. Annual dues are $20, 3 years for $50, and 6 years are $70. Life member dues are based on age:  Through Age 50 – dues are $250.  Ages 51-60 – dues are $125.  Ages 61+ – dues are $60.
