The International Auxiliary membership division consists of: Spouses/former spouses, widows/widowers, and family members 18 years of age or older of enlisted service members, whether active duty, separated, veteran, Reserve or National Guard, in Grades E-1 through E-9. Auxiliary members support the Non Commissioned Officers Association in a multitude of ways. In addition to the auxiliary membership counting towards the association total membership, the auxiliary sponsors the NCOA Bettsy Ross Educational Fund which is just one of the benevolent programs supported by the NCOA. Not to be confused with the Betsy Ross who created our country's flag, our Bettsy Ross was the first International Auxiliary President. The Bettsy Ross Scholastic Grant is only open to NCOA Auxiliary members and provides funds for developing or improving upon a member's employment skills.

The International Auxiliary Board of Directors currently consists of nine auxiliary members across the United States with each serving a three year term. The current Executive Board President is Tammy Sullivan (Sacramento, CA), Vice-President Barbara Weatherill (Oregon City, OR), Secretary Dianne Carnahan (Co. Springs, CO), Treasurer Rose Lapajenko (Sterling Heights, MI) and Board Members Alda Ashford (Detroit, MI), Vivian Bruno (Mary Ester, FL), Marian Rooney (Jacksonville, NC), Ronda Smith (Tucson, AZ) and Patricia Weaver (Co. Springs, CO). This board is a dedicated group supporting the goals and objectives of the auxiliary.
