 | Expo 2010
| NCOA’s Veterans Employment Assistance Division and Military.com, the largest online military membership organization, have extended their agreement to co-host Career Expo’s designed to place separating and retiring veterans and family members in direct contact with companies and corporations seeking individuals with military training and experience. “Extending this partnership with Military.com is the perfect scenario.” said NCOA Executive Director Cliff “Scoop” Davis. “NCOA has held job fairs worldwide since 1973, but with the outreach capabilities that we now have with Military.com, we are able to reach a greater amount of people.”
| | Company Recruiters Sign Up Now | Dr. Vince Patton, Director, Community Outreach at Military.com had this to say about the opportunities our Career Expo's provide the nearly 250,000 veterans leaving the service every year, “Career Expos provide the perfect opportunity where transitioning service members and veterans get a chance to have a face-to-face meeting with employers as well as networking among themselves. I’m excited to continue working with NCOA who have shown through our partnership that they are the ‘best of the best’ in serving the members of the military community.” Companies interested in Military.com & NCOA Career Expo Sponsorships, or in signing up to exhibit at an event are asked to contact NCOA's VEA Division at (800) 662-2620 Ext. 241.
Recruiters can also register online by clicking here. | While the Military.com & NCOA Career Expos are geared toward military members leaving the service after their commitment is over, the events are open to everyone in search of employment and/or a career change. While most companies who exhibit are searching for employees, there are also recruiters in the area to help you pursue your educational goals and career changes.
